Obituary of Walter Gordon "Red" Seaman
Peacefully, with family by his side, after a short illness at Parkwood Hospital, on Monday, February 16, 2015, Red passed away in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Seaman. Loving father of Gayle Vanderheide & her husband Frank, father-in-law of Charlotte Seaman and predeceased by sons Greg & Gord Seaman. Loving grandfather of Ginger (Richard) Peters, Gordon Sims, Kimberley (Chad) Cornish, Susan (Brian) Brown, Lisa (Rob) Langford & Debbie Sims and great-grandfather of Devon, Xavier, Carissa, Rebekah, Noah, Josh, Duke, Tyler, Michael, Tyler, Ryan. Dear brother of Gladys, Barb, Marie & Jane and predeceased by sister Violet and brothers Reg & Robert. Also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Red worked many years building homes for Peckham Construction & the last 10 years he worked for Phillips Electronics. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces with 2 Perth Regiment.
Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Wednesday from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
