John has been a big part of my life every since we met in grade 3. It is so incredibly sad he is gone at such a young age. My life will never be the same without him in it.

I am very sad to hear of John's passing. We spent a lot of time together in our early twenties in a group of friends that used to get together routinely to have fun. We were all fun loving, and care free. We loved to listen to music, John liked David Bowie I recall, and we would listen to the Doors, the Stones and all great classic rock music. We would all sing like crazy, some of us still do, and enjoy a beer or two! I see my two children who are both now 20 and see them with their friends doing the same things we did and I get to re-live those memories. I send my sincerest sympathies to John's son and partner and although I have not had the pleasure of meeting you I am sure you will now hear of what a lovely man John was and how he impacted the lives of those he met in a positive way.

So sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed John's sense of humor and his smile. I know Dad (Wm. G. Stenning) thought the world of John. He was an integral part of Port A Po.
