Obituary of Elsie Mildred Barker

Peacefully, with her daughters by her side, at Victoria Hospital, on Saturday, January 24, 2015, Elsie Mildred Barker (Wells), in her 83rd year, goes to join her family; son Jeffery Charles Barker, parents Ernest Stanley Wells & Winnifred Wells, and her siblings Ernest (Jean) Wells, Robert Wells, Violet Wells, Alice (Charlie) Sreenan & William Wells. Loving mother of Dawn (Aurele) Labow, Mary Barker & Janice Arandelovic; grandmother of Andrew & Mandy Labow, Jasmine Barker (Sebastian) & Jacob Robbins and great-grandmother of Hunter & Damien Mudie. Survived by brother John (Claire) Wells, sister Florence (John) Sibley, sister-in-law Judy Wells and many nieces & nephews. Some of Elsie’s favorite times were spent, with her family she loved so dearly, at family picnics. She was non-judgemental, loved everyone and had a great interest in poetry & music. At Elsie’s request a Celebration of Her Life will be held in the spring. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
