Obituary of Emily Dewy McComb (Nickles)
Peacefully, at home with her family by her side, on Monday, January 12, 2015, Emily passed away in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late William George McComb (1992). Loving mother of Thomas of Bowmanville, Robert & his wife Eileen of Katy, TX., Douglas & his wife Jill of Ajax, Michael & his wife Gaie of Brampton and John & his wife Mireille of Barrie. Cherished grandmother of Veronica, Jason, Sofie, Liam, Cayley, Allana, Shannon & Andrew and great-grandmother of Benjamin. Predeceased by sisters Lena Mudge, Mildred Hodgson, Barbara Foreman, Lizzie Griffiths and brothers Bruce Nickles, Ken Nickles & Charlie Nickles. Emily is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Family & friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), London, on Friday from 6-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
