Obituary of Thomas Edwin "Tom" Clinton
Peacefully, with family by his side, at University Hospital on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, Tom passed away in his 75th year. Loving husband of Betty for 51 years. Dear father of David, Derek (Corina), Sandra (Anthony) Clinton-Fodor and grandfather of Isobel & Ainsley Clinton-Fodor. Dear brother of Pearl (Leo – deceased) Price, Katherine (Paul) Hickey, Patricia Clinton, Beatrice Rust, John (Rosemary) Clinton & Barbara (Robert) Chambers. Predeceased by his parents Thomas (1992) & Naomi (1994) Clinton, sister Rena Mae Gross and brothers Carl (Shirley) Clinton & Frederick Clinton. Will be missed by mother-in-law Phyllis. Uncle to many nieces & nephews.
Tom served his country for many years as a member of R.C.E.M.E. (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) and was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion - Victory Branch #317.
A Private family graveside interment of ashes service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 303 Riverside Drive, on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
An Open House Memorial will be held at the Family home beginning Monday @ 3pm.
