Obituary of Fred Clipperton

Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at University Hospital, on Sunday, October 10, 2010, Fred passed away in his 93rd year. Loving husband of Marion, for over 62 years, and father of Rick (Sue), Larry (Ruth), Rose Elsie, Linda (Tony) Stride, Kevin (Bernie) all of London, Debbie (Frank) Alexander of Exeter and Karen (Randy) Stanlake of Hensall. Lovingly remembered by many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law to Laurie (Jack) Davis. Also survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Pat, son-in-law Doug Elsie, sisters Ruby Gloor, Dorothy Copeman and brothers Reginald, Wilfred & Walter. Fred worked for 39 years at Richard Wilcox and was an avid euchre player. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Tuesday 6-9pm & Wednesday 10-11am. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Clipperton Cemetery.
