Obituary of Gwendolen "Gwen" Jessie Byers

Surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital Gwen Byers of London in her 68th year. She is survived by her loving husband Richard Byers. Gwen leaves behind her children Rodney (Rose) of Nova Scotia, Patricia (Harvey) McKenzie, Judy (Will) Mepsted, Ron (Debbie) and Rick (Kristen). She will be missed by many grand and great-grandchildren. Gwen is predeceased by her Mother Marjorie Sutherland. The world will miss her caring and giving spirit, but because of her Heaven will shine brighter! The family will receive friends at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Monday from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial service will be held at All Saints’ Anglican Church, 249 Hamilton Rd., on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev’d Peter Leonard and Pastor Kevin Mepsted officiating.
