Obituary of Roy D. Jacques
Peacefully, after a lengthy & courageous battle, at University Hospital, on Thursday, January 15, 2009, Roy D. Jacques in his 61st year. Beloved son of the late Fern Inez Jacques (1986). Remembered by his dear friends Peggy & Allen Franklin and their children Brad & Stacey. Dear brother of Julia Graham, the late Betty Fleet & the late Eugene Jacques. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. Roy was a longtime union representative of the Service Employees International Union (S.E.I.U.) and worked as an Orderley & Orthopedic Technician at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation with interment of ashes in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations to the University Hospital - I.C.U.
