Obituary of Madeline G. Wood

At Country Terrace Nursing Home, Komoka, on Friday, December 28, 2007, Madeline “Mal” G. Wood (nee Ogglesby) in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Wood (1979). Loving mother of John (Martha) Wood & Jim (Susan) Wood and grandmother of John, Lindsay (Brent Nevin), Erin (Doug Fenn) & Charlie Rau. Lovingly remembered by 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Also predeceased by infant son Thomas, grandson Rick, dear friend Clarence Brown and 12 brothers & sisters. Madeline was a longtime member of Hyatt Ave. United Church. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 1-2pm. Funeral service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Carl Branch officiating. Private Family interment will take place at a later date in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
