Obituary of Gardelle Drennan

Peacefully, with her devoted husband by her side, at Parkwood Hospital, on Thursday, October 25, 2007, Gardelle Drennan in her 60th year. Survived by her beloved husband Rick Sr. Devoted mother of Rick Jr., Laura, the late Melissa, Chris and his wife Ala, and Patty and her husband Dan. Proud and loving Nana of Jimmy and Dustin and Grandma of Emily, Ryan, Matthew and Connor. Lovingly remembered by sisters Carol Wheat, Judy Tanner, Bev Smith and Gaye Nagelkop. Always cherished by mother-in-law Helen Drennan. Predeceased by her parents Garfield and Marion Cowie and her father-in-law James Drennan. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at All Saints’ Anglican Church, 249 Hamilton Rd., at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev’d Peter Leonard officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment at a later date. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to Parkwood Hospital-Palliative Care Unit.
