Obituary of Edna Thompson

Peacefully, at Elmwood Place on Monday, August 15, 2022, Edna Thompson passed away at the age of 102. Beloved wife of the late Charles "Charlie" Thompson. Loving mother of Ken Thompson (Marilyn Creed). Dear grandmother of Stephanie Howard (Brian Brethauer) and Erica Thompson (Derek). Great grandmother of Dalton, Ayla, Mikey, Lorna, Sydney and Nathan. Forever in the hearts of her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings. Edna will be fondly remembered for her honesty, and love of sewing and animals. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Elmwood Place for all their care and support. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton), on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 1-2 p.m. Memorial service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment of ashes will take place in Newmarket, Ontario at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations to SPCA Ontario in memory of Edna.
