Obituary of Evelyn Valena Wright (McBain)

Peacefully at University Hospital on February 4, 2013, Evelyn Valena Wright (nee Jones) passed away one day short of celebrating her 89th birthday. Beloved wife of Gordon Wright of 27 years. Cherished mother of Gary McBain and Sheryl Lynn Russell. Loving grandma of Heather (Ray) Lang, Lisa Metselaar, Matthew McBain and Bonnie (Rob) Draper and great-grandma of Ryan Lang and Gage Draper. Predeceased by her first husband Fred McBain (1979) and her sisters Marjorie, Cassie, Florence, Marion and Edna. Evelyn will be missed by her nieces & nephews and family & friends. Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Friday, February 8th, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. Interment in Dorchester Union Cemetery.
