Obituary of Eleanor Mary Thornhill (nee Andrew)

Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, on January 30, 2010, Eleanor passed away in her 89th year. Born in Avon, Ontario, the daughter of Ivan & Essie Andrew. Beloved wife of Charles (Bud) Thornhill (2008). Devoted mother to Bill (Mary Anne), Dr. Jim (Tanya) and Jeff (Kathy). Beloved grandmother to Rebecca, David, Amanda, Tasha, Travis and Shawn. Dear sister to Don and Bill Andrew and predeceased by sister Pauline. Long standing member of the Metropolitan United Church and worked many years in the Glen Cairn Neighborhood Pharmacies. The Family wishes to express its sincere thanks for the love and care provided by the staff of Inspirit Residences where Mom resided since 2005. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 7-9 PM with a Memorial Service on Wednesday, February 3rd at 1:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton).
