A dear friend during London South High School years. Many, many fond memories. Roger and I were on the Stage Crew playing music for dances, putting up lighting, and tending to the stage curtain. We became very close friends spending many weekends in Grand Bend during the summers. Roger enrolled in Chiropractic College following South. He left there to work for Bell I think. Roger asked me at one time if he could date a girl I was seeing. That girl was Phillis who he married. I spent many great times at Rogers home in Lambeth and having meals there at times. I still remember those fluffy mashed potatoes his mom whipped up. Roger filled a large part of my adolescent years. My loss in his passing is soft and enduring. May we meet again Roger. Bill

I met Roger in 1950, at London South Collegiate Institute and we remained friends for the rest of his life. Roger enjoyed a happy marriage with his teacher-wife, Phillis, until 2006. In spite of his many struggles with difficult mental health issues, Roger remained steadfast in his religious beliefs to the very end. I will always remember the many good times!

Thank you Chris for letting me know of Roger's passing. How well I remember the fun we had when we were kids. Roger, you were my first love! Rest In Peace and God Bless.
