Obituary of Shirley Johnson (née Allen)

Peacefully, at Chartwell Parkhill Long Term Care Residence on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, Shirley Noreen Johnson (née Allen) passed away at the age of 83. Beloved wife of 56 years to the late Walter Johnson. Loving mother of Scott Fuhrman, Catherine (Bill) Kneeshaw, Ann-Louise (the late Kenji) Sugisaka and the late Lynda Milligan. Dear grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Ken (Karen) Allen and Ron (Deanna) Allen. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by grandson David Johnson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Chartwell Parkhill Long Term Care Residence for all their care and support. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held in the Evans Chapel on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Interment of ashes in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, Ontario at a later date.
