Obituary of Lone Thompson
After a short and unexpected battle, Lone Thompson, nee Nielsen, passed away at LHSC Victoria Hospital, on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, in her 72nd year.
Lone leaves behind her sons Todd Nielsen, and Jeffery Nielsen-Thompson, both of London.
Farmor will be missed by her only grandson Clayten Nielsen. Also left to mourn are her mother Esther (Frank) Nielsen-Pace, her brother Tom (Janet) Nielsen of Windsor, her sister Susan (Mike) Harkness as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lone was predeceased by her father Borge Nielsen (1979), and her sister Kate Williamson (2007).
Lone was a loving, caring, and compassionate woman, who always put others before herself.
She will be greatly missed both here and in Denmark.
Friends will be received at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block East of Egerton), on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, from 12-2 pm. A celebration of her life will follow in the chapel at 2 pm. Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Lone’s name are asked to consider Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
