Obituary of Laurena Alice Mary (McNeill) Scheiding

Peacefully, on April 29, 2022, Laurena Scheiding passed away, surrounded by the love of her family, at the age of 77. She was the loving wife of Lawrence Scheiding, and he will miss her terribly. Her daughters, Cory (Jim) Gauvin, and Laura (Murray) Schumacher will miss her laugh. Also left to mourn are her granddaughter Kaitlyn Chapman, her sister Peggy Perkins, her brother in law Jerry Strong, many nieces and nephews, and a large extended family. She is predeceased by her parents Raymond Ira and Annie Laurie McNeill, her grandson Matthew Deane, and her sisters Ann Beck, Sherry Strong, and Nadine McNeill. Friends and Family will be received at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd., on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 11 am to 12 pm. A Celebration of Laurena’s Life will follow in the Evans Chapel at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, Laurena’s family asks that you consider a donation to the London Regional Cancer Program in her memory.
