Obituary of F. Doreen Guthrie (Petie)

Peacefully, after a short illness, with family by her side, at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday January 25, 2004. F. Doreen “Petie” Guthrie (nee White) in her 63rd year. Loving wife of John and mother of Andrew, Alex, Kimberley, Katy, and their families. Dear sister of Richard, Frank, Helen, Noreen and Patricia. Also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 1-2 pm. Funeral service will follow in the chapel on Wednesday January 28, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. with Father Lucio Couto, of Holy Cross Catholic Church, officiating. Interment in Oakland Cemetery, Delaware. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Doreen's family would like to give special thanks to all the I.C.U.
