Obituary of Josif "Joe" Csankovszky

Peacefully, after a short illness, at Victoria Hospital, L.H.S.C., on Thursday, May 24, 2008, Josif “Joe” Csankovszky, of London, in his 55th year. Loving husband of Magdalana “Magdi”, for 25 years, and father of Csilla & her husband Kyle, Csaba, Laszlo & Steve. Dear brother of Les (Brenda) & 3 sisters in Romania, and brother-in-law of Steve & his family in Sweden. Uncle of Kati & her daughter Alexandra, and Monique (Haitham) & their 3 sons Jacob, Michael & David. Predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers & 2 brothers-in-law. Joe was President for 2 years of the London & District Hungarian Club, worked at Ford Talbotville for 19 years & a member of CAW Local #1520. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton) on Friday from 7-9pm and Saturday from 9:30-10:30am. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the London Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
