Obituary of George Maxwell Melville

After a lengthy illness, with family by his side, George passed away in his 74th year at Victoria Hospital on Saturday, November 20, 2010. Loving husband of Ruth, for 53 years, and father of George H. Melville & his wife Susan, and the late Valerie Lynn Melville. Cherished grandfather of Ryan & Danielle and special great-granddaughter Peyton. Dear brother of Larry, Dorothy, Sharon & Jackie. Predeceased by his parents Max & Dorothy Melville, brothers Bill & Ricky, and sister Joan. George worked over 27 years for Ford (Talbotville). Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (1 block east of Egerton), on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 12-1pm. Funeral service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at a later date in Avondale Cemetery, Stratford.
