Obituary of Ruth Violet Thompson

Peacefully at Chelsey Park Nursing Home on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, Ruth Violet Thompson passed away in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late John Henry (Jack) Thompson (1988). Dear mother of David (the late Judy) of Thorndale, Donald, Charlie (Linda) and Marlene (Gord Stewart) all of London. Sister of 10 brothers and sisters. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Ruth was a longtime member of Grace United Church UCW. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Friday from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
