I will miss you big brother, and I hope you watch over us and give Mom & Dad a big hug, and thanks for looking out for me when you could. I am happy that you are no longer hurting, but I really hoped it could have been while you were still here but God had other plans so save me a place in heaven, but don't make it too soon. At least I know, that you know now how much you were loved so you can rest in peace. Lots of love from your baby sister...Like I said in the tribute at your funeral, I'm not crying for you, I'm crying for me. Bye, bye for now, Char

I was in shock to hear about Paul's passing, I didn't know he was ill and I wasn't sure why he wasn't at work anymore. I actually didn't find out about it until today (Saturday) otherwise I would have came to the funeral. I also worked with Paul at the hospital for about 7 years and saw him everytime I had something to send out. Paul and I always chatted with eachother and he was always so easy to get along with. We often discussed his George Chauvalo meeting and we as well, talked about his daughter Shannon alot of the time. I have red hair too so he always said I reminded him of his daughter. I hope that Shannon can find some peace in knowing how respected Paul was in the hospital and how much he loved and cared about her. You were the apple of his eye....very sorry to hear the news and very sorry that I couldn't attend the funeral.

Dear Shannon My name is Robyn, I'm a nurse at University Hospital in London, Ontario. Althought I didn't know your father very well, over many years we would chat at work if we had our breaks at the same time. We would talk about many things, but most of all, he would talk about you. I just wanted you to know how very much he loved you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely Robyn McKenzie

Mom (Aunt Mildred) and I were so sorry to hear of Paul's death. We didn't know he was ill and we are sure it was very difficult for all of you to see him declining. I remember meeting Shannon when she was very little and the look of great joy and happiness on Paul's face. We thought she looked like my sister Ann-Maureen as a child. he was certainly a very proud Dad. We are sorry we are unable to attend the service for Paul but are thinking of all of you at this sad time. We will pray for Paul and all of you. Much Love, Mildred, Cathy, Ann-Maureen and Mike Brown
