Obituary of Sarah Allan Flitton

After a short illness, on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Dearness Home. Sarah (Cis or Cissy to her family) is reunited with her dear husband Harry (1977). Left to miss forever her courage, laughter and indomitable spirit, are her daughters Sheila (Peter) Cussons of Ottawa and Jeannie (Lawrence) Barkin of London. Proud Nanny of her "boys" - David (Kirsten) of Greenwood NS, Sean (Martina) of Ottawa and Michael (Jessica) of Halifax. Doting Great-Grandma of Daniel, Alex and Keira, all of Ottawa. Cis is survived by her sisters Margaret Graham and Jean Casimir, and by her brother Hugh Ramsay, all of London. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert, James, Morris and Andrew, and by her sister Allison (Elsie) Bloor. Aunt Cis is remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. Sarah's family will receive visitors at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Monday, July 19, 2010 from 10-11am. Funeral service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 11:00 a.m. The service will be followed by a reception.
