Obituary of Ruth Sarah Bruce

Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, Ruth passed away, in her 87th year, with family by her side on Sunday, May 16, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Robert Bruce & lifelong friend David Wilson. Loving mother of Marilyn Brooks, Bill Bruce & Virginia (Larry) Langford and step-mother of Paul (Marg) Wilson & their family. Cherished grandmother of Lauralee (Barry), Carrie (Jim), Connie (Nick), Jason, Larry, Scott (Lindsay), Brian (Bianca); great-grandmother of Douglas, Lonny, Mikey, Thane, Jesse, Brandon, Tyler, Katelynn & Haylee and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Ada & Gordon Beacham, brothers Dave & Bill (Kaye) Beacham. Ruth will be remembered by sister-in-law Bev Beacham and many nieces & nephews. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
