Obituary of Mrs. Irene Hayes

Peacefully, at Meadow Park Nursing Home, with her family by her side, on Friday, June 27th, 2014, Irene Hayes (nee Irvine), of London, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Monte Hayes (2006), of 53 years. Loving mother of Catherine "Cathy" (Rene) Tessier, William "Bill" (Jennifer) Hayes and Jim (Jennifer Shantz) Hayes. Cherished Nanny of Jason Tessier, Montea (Cory) Sherritt, Shannon (Jason) Johnston, Jenn, Connor and Blake Hayes and Nanny Hayes of Makenna and Nolan Sherritt and Brody Johnston. Irene will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank all of the nurses and staff at Meadow Park Nursing Home for their continued support and care. Funeral Service will be held at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. (Visitation will be held one hour prior) Cremation to follow. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
