When you folks lived in Sydney, youe house on Connaught Street was half way between our house and school so when I was on my way to school I always knew there was a safe haven half way if I ran into trouble. I remember one day a friend and I fell in a swamp over off Taylor Street and got pretty wet. We went to your house and Rita provided dry socks, cookies and a kind word. I was always proud to tell my friends that this great lady was my aunt. When you moved away I missed that half way haven. I only regret that we didn't have the opportunity to see Rita more in the years since then. Time is so short. God Bless.
