Obituary of Marjorie Leone Smith

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, Marjorie Leone Smith (Evans) at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of the late Bill Smith (2004). Loving mother of Bonnie Stensil, Gary (Marla) Harding, Gail (Kevin) Long, grandmother of Shawn, Layna, Kayla, Shawna, Joshua (Vanessa) and great-grandmother of Logan & Conner. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret Evans, Marion Rodney & Regan Amlin. Predeceased by brother Jim Evans and sisters Nel Clark & Marilyn Feurstein. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Thursday from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Friday, September 14, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev’d Earl Leiska officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation, Cancer Centre, would be appreciated by the family.
