Obituary of Lena Conway

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at University Hospital, L.H.S.C., on Monday, October 22, 2007, Lena Conway (Saberi) in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Edward “Ted” Conway (1974). Loving mother of Barbara (Gordon) Dunn, Walter (Eleanor) Conway, Tina (Ken) Lauzon, John (Pauline) Conway, Linda McKay, and mother-in-law of David Jamieson & Alice Conway. Predeceased by daughter Rose Jamieson, son Dugie Conway and her brothers & sisters. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Wednesday from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted at St. George’s Presbyterian Church, 1475 Dundas St. (east of Hale St.), on Thursday, October 25, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Keith McKee officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
