Obituary of Violet “Vi” Meathrel

At Strathroy General Hospital on Tuesday September 14, 2004. Violet “Vi” Meathrel, resident of Middlesex Terrace, Delaware, passed away in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Meathrel (1996). Predeceased by brother Alf Warner. Sister-in-law to Eileen Meathrel and Jean Meathrel. “Special Mother” to Ron Meathrel. Also survived by several nephews and one niece. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton) on Thursday September 16, 2004, from 1-2 pm. Funeral service will follow in the chapel on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Frank Reid officiating. Cremation with interment of ashes in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Services:
