Obituary of Apostolia Pirgionas
Apostolia Pirgionas born in Makrysi, Greece passed away peacefully at LHSC, University Hospital on Monday, February 28, 2022 in her 92nd year.
Adoring wife of the late Peter Pirgionas (1997). Loving mother of Georgia Sakellis and her husband Leontios, the late Bill Pirgionas (2013) and his wife Stella. Proud grandmother to Eleni, Perry and Alexander Pirgionas. Dear sister of 7 siblings. Predeceased by her parents Leonidas & Christina Nikas. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of Marian Villa for all their care and support.
Visitation will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral service will follow in the church at 11:00 a.m.
Interment Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Apostolia are asked to consider Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
