Obituary of Anne Weldon

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing on Thursday, October 16, 2014, of Anne Weldon (Blundon), 81, formerly of Bay de Verde, Newfoundland. Beloved wife of the late Bob Weldon. Predeceased by brothers Gordon, Mose & Clayton. Survived by siblings Bride, Ern, Ed, Alfie & Donna. Loving and very protective Mom to Mike (Shannon), Steve (Madonna) & Karen. Mother-in-law to Cheryl Weldon. Thanks to Chris & Jan for all your love and support; and a very special thank you to Mrs. Bourgeois – a true friend. Granny to Sheena (Matt) & Michael. Great Granny to Carter, Liam, Haylee & Jenna. Aunt Anne to many nieces and nephews. Mom had a very tough year battling cancer, car accident and a stroke, but fought as only she could every step of the way!! Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 1 p.m. Instead of donations, try your luck on the Blazing 7’s – one of Mom’s favourite pass times.
