Sally, it is with sincere sympathy that I read that Abe has passed away. I often thought of Abe and how he was fairing with his illness and quality of life. Abe was a lifelong colleague and friend at work, RCA and Spar. Working on first off technological developments, coercing Engineers with myself to join & form the Engineers Union and remembering the last field trip to Milan (year escapes me) with Abe and our quick venture to Venice by train. We have our Spartans old timers lunch May 5 at which time I would like to pay some tribute to Abe. I would appreciate a few heritage pictures of Abe at work; if available, please scan and forward to my email address I am still working full time, will be 72 in August and will retire mid July after 49 years of service. Still have on file a few technical memos written by Abe associated with the RCA Satcom Satellite. Sincere condolences and take care Ed Edsorochan@videotron.ca edward.sorochan@mdacorporation.com

It is with great sadness that I learn that Abe has passed away. Abe was a very kind and knowledgeable colleague that I always enjoyed working with. But even more memorably to me, we played softball in the same employee team at Spar for several years. I often gave him a lift home in Cote St-Luc after the games. Abe will remain for me a model of competence and kindness, and an inspiration to follow his foot steps of trying to live a balanced life where there is room for other priorities (including sport) than only work. Thanks, Abe, for all that you brought me. I will always remember you as a top-quality human being.

Gita I am so sorry about your Dad. There are absolutely no words that I can say to make the hurt go away. If I could I would. I hope that in time cherished memories give you peace. I have wonderful memories of your father going out to play baseball, and him in your yard on Smart. Also him trying(without much success) to get us to stay home on a Saturday night to study:). He was always kind to me and I admired him very much. Please give your Mother and Sister a hug for me and tell them I am so sorry. I know this is a tremendous loss for all of you, to the kids and your and Miriam's David's too. My heart goes out to all. Love Donna
