Karen was one of the first people I met when I began working at red lobster - she expressed so much kindness to me and I was so impressed/inspired by the way she showed compassion to myself & others. Whether it be through donation drives, her words, or through the presence & caring energy she emanated, Karen impacted so many people deeply - myself included. I want to express my most profound condolences to each of Karen's family members and loved ones and to express that my heart is with you. I hope I can do everything I can to honour Karen's legacy.

Our deepest condolences and sympathies for the passing of Karen. We along with our circles of friends are still in disbelief. I have known Karen since she was a little girl as we attended elementary and high school in Walkerton. The McWaters were like my second family and welcomed me warmly into their home. Warren was one of my best friends and I had the pleasure of knowing all of his siblings and parents. Karen was the youngest and was always hanging in the background being a nosy little sister and getting into trouble. She always had spunk and positive energy which she carried into her adult life. She was always teasing (Like her older sister) and always had a big (And sometimes mischievous) smile for you. She was full of fun and lived life to the fullest. She loved to have fun and also loved music. The entire McWaters family was so musically talented. The McWaters family was also kind and giving and Karen learned and exhibited all of those attributes. Her positive attitude and personality will live on forever as she was such a good role model for the lucky many that she touched in her life. Dan, Sandra, Nikita and Tianna

I am so sorry to hear about Karens passing. I only worked with her at RL for a few years back in the day, but I always remembered her love of life and amazing spirit. We had a running joke that she introduced me to my husband Bob and I remember asking her about him after we met. She was such a special person and will be missed. My condolences to her loving family and friends.
