Jesse was a kind, sensitive, thoughtful soul. He was beloved by his peers and teachers alike at London Central Secondary School. He came to a performance of our school show in March to show his support... What a tragic loss for his family, friends, and the Central community.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was Jesse's Grade 11 Auto teacher and it was such a pleasure to have him in my class. He was very involved in helping to re-build the race car. He was always ready to help out doing whatever job was necessary. He worked with every person in the class and students liked working with him because he was skilled and helped the less skilled to learn. I had him 2 period a day for a full year. I saw Jesse about 3 months ago and he was at school meeting with admin trying to set up some kind of support group to help others. That was the amazing person Jesse was. He will be so so missed.

I met Jesse at Western University, through a friend in 2009. I remember when we first met, he struck me as a very friendly and sweet person; this is truly the type of person Jesse as, and he was so much more than that too. He was someone who was always able to put a smile on the faces of those around him. I am so happy we got to reconnect in 2016. I remember after one Shabbat at Chabad in London, ON, Jesse offered me and a everyone else who was with me a ride home, even if it was out of his way home. Jesse was there for me on various occasions, often reaching out during times when I wasn't in the best of moods. I remember his supportive messages/comments from him after I posted about some type of difficult/controversial issue online. He often shared some humorous comments, which were very uplifting and entertaining. I really enjoyed chatting with Jesse, he always had something interesting and informative to share, yet he was always so humble. Jesse was a true giver, who wanted the best for humanity, and for the world at large. I am really sad that I won't get to hear from Jesse again; I'm really going to miss our chats. Our conversations always put me in a great mood and elevated me. I am forever grateful that I had the pleasure of having Jesse as my soul. I am beyond heartbroken that you've left us Jesse, but I know that gd is protecting you. Jesse, you are so loved. Thanks for being an incredible person and contributing so much to the world and if your short life. Thanks for your care, you will be deeply missed. Heaven has gained an angel.#BDE #missingyou #restinpeace. Marnie, I love you and Jesse. I'm so happy that we have reconnected. sending yo much love and supportive vitamins.

I still remember our first date through Cootes Paradise. We stopped at a bench on the boardwalk and talked for hours. This is where I told you how much I love waterfalls and how excited I was to explore Hamilton. From that moment you made it your mission to take me to as many waterfalls as possible, regardless of the long hikes and bus rides. I loved exploring my new city with you, just as much as you loved showing me. Jesse, you were one of my first friends in university and supported me every step of the way as I adjusted to a new life. You always had the brightest smile and strived to put a smile on my face everyday. You were always there to lend a helping hand, even when you weren't exactly sure how. I knew that I could count on you and that I found someone special. You had a kind soul, and were always willing to tackle any challenge that life threw at you. Your memory will always hold a special place in my heart and I will cherish all of the moments we shared together. Marnie, you raised an amazing son and I'm so grateful for all the time I had getting to know him. I can't believe he's gone, but he has touched the lives of many in his wake. My sincerest condolences for the loss of your other half. Rest in Peace Jesse. I hope you're enjoying your sunday morning breakfasts with your grandfather in heaven.

I cannot deeply enough express to you my profound sorrow at Jesse's passing. Jesse was a true mensch, always prepared to help a friend or a stranger. He had such a special, kind, and genuine personality. He was the type of person who you could speak to and know that he was really listening, and that he really cared. I know that if I ever needed help, Jesse was a person who I could call and he would be there in minutes. I am sad that I fell out of touch with Jesse over the last few years since graduating from McMaster, but I will always count him as a friend. I cannot imagine your pain right now and I'm sorry that due to this pandemic you are going through this alone. But please know that all of Jesse's friends are with you in spirit. May Hashem comfort you with a full and complete comfort amongst all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of Jesse - a kind, gentle, and generous person who found out far too soon what awaits us after this life. He will live on in our memories as someone who always did his best to be his best, who always had a big, friendly smile on his face, and inspired others to remember their own greatness because he truly saw the best in everyone. We will miss you, Jesse.
