I was saddened to hear of the passing of my friend Ed Mann. I started to practice in London in 1965 and as a result new and as a fellow lawyer throughout the entirety of his legal practice. Ed was a very bright lawyer and always provided his clients with good advice. As a judge I always enjoyed having Ed appear before me as his arguments were always succinct and with merit I will miss Ed. Goodbye my friend R I P. Tom

I had the pleasure of working for Ed in the mid/late '80s, and he was indeed a brilliant lawyer with a kind heart, and he was a great mentor. I am not surprised to see that he supported an exceptional organization, Ronald McDonald House. I have personally received their support while my child was in treatment, and I am honoured to make a donation to that charity in Ed's name. My sincere condolences to Ed's family, friends and colleagues.

Ed, your death closes a large avenue of service to the least fortunate in our community, who were able to count on your vigorous advocacy. My thanks for all that you gave to those who needed your skill and dedication. thanks, also, to your incredible staff whose efforts allowed you to do so much for so many. Rest at last.

Very sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Ed was a friend who was there for me on more than one occasion when I hit a pothole on my road through life. We also had fun with boats and stories to tell. Ed had a uniquely humorous view of life that I enjoyed. Condolences to his family.

Ed Mann was one of a kind; he was honest and hard working, kind and intelligent. Ed represented his clients vigorously and without him many people would have been without help over the years. On a personal note, Ed was always kind to me and willing to lend an ear or a helping hand. I will miss him. May he rest in peace.

Rest in peace my friend. Your life's work was to give a voice to those who otherwise may have felt they had none. Well done, Counsel.
