Nancy, We are so sad it hear that Gerry has passed away. It brings back thoughts from years ago at 6 Ash Street in Cambridge when he was courting you and when I visited with you and your parents over Xmas vacation (and met Bob). From what I can gather, you and Gerry have made a wonderful life together and produced three achieving sons and six grandchildren. We are fully retired, involved with charities, travel and our grandkids. I keep contact with Carol Fryberger and Dale Pollock, and mainly with with Robin Smith (who has a very suitable male friend). Love, Joan and Bobfprts8

Dear Nancy, What memories have been jogged by reading Gerry's obituary in the Globe and Mail! I am so, so sorry to learn that Gerry has died....as I remember him he was a huge force of life. He always had a big grin on his face and thinking of him, makes my mind a jumble of memories of Mrs. Wright, whose china I still use, your Mom, your Dad, Elinor's May birthday parties at the Shriner's Circus but most of all I remember the wonderful times when we were teen agers at the Y and that reminds me of Gerry's smiling face..his calm reassuring demeanour ......simply a great guy...full of life and fun. This will always be my memory because I haven't seen either of you since we left for Israel in1970!!! As you can see from the address above, we are now living near our daughter Erin in Montreal. Our boys are all over the world and we keep travelling to see and be with them! I send my most heartfelt condolences to you and ALL your family and please take comfort in the knowlege that Gerry was cared for by SO MANY and from what I read, the wonderful life you shared. May his name be for a blessing! Affectionately, Carol

I was privileged to work with Dr Wright both at UWO and his dental office from 1984 to 1986. H was a champion of dental care for children and his impact was felt around the world. From his groundbreaking Behaviour Management in Dentistry for Children in 1975, he brought attention to this important field. I invited him to be Opening Keynote Speaker at the 2012 Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry 2012 annual meeting on Behaviour Management and he was wonderful. He then published the second edition of his book in 2014 with Dr Ari Kupietzky which was wonderful. He did it all and always with a big smile. Accomplished academic, excellent clinician and wonderful father and husband. Condolences to Nancy, family and friends

My sincere condolences to you all. I have very fond memories of car pooling with Dr Wright and his son Michael along with Peter, Don etc...Hard to believe that was 45 years ago at Bishop Townsend School. One of the best memories I have is going on an overnight camping trip with Michael and other school friends. Dr Wright was more excited about camping than I was. At the campfire he checked my teeth and told me everything was ok and I could burn my retainer. What a great way to end the night! Dr Wright was a great dentist and teacher. He was also a generous and kind man.

I am sorry for your loss. No matter the circumstance, it is difficult to a parent. I never had the pleasure of meeting your father, but I have to assume he was a fine man based upon my relationship with you. My deepest sympathy and if there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to ask.

Very sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. My condolences to Nancy and family. Likely, I have known Gerry longer than anyone else in London. We attended St. John's High School in Winnipeg together. We often walked to school together. He was a great man and will be long remembered by all those whose lifes he has touched.

Dear Nancy It is great sadness that I heard of Prof. Wrights death. I loved the time he spent teaching me in Sydney and he has influence my career greatly.
