Obituary of Margarita "Rita" Sotiriadis
Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on September 30, 2019. Loving wife of George for 56 years and mother of Nick (Georgina), Maria (Renato) & Chris (Jennie). Cherished 'Yiayia' to Dylan, George & Ariana. Dear daughter-in-law of Maria Sotiriadis. Loving sister to Steve (Froso) Drakos of London, Taso (Sofoula) Drakos & Maria (Stelios) Georgiadou both of Kavala, Greece. Lovingly remembered by nieces Zoe & Sheila in London and many nieces & nephews in Kavala, Greece. Beloved sister-in-law of Helen (the late Chris) Droumtsekas & Family, Sue (Tasso) Attarian & Family and John (Barb) Sotiriadis & Family.
Rita was "Mom" to all her students in the UCC at UWO and was an active member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Community in London.
Special thanks to the St. Joseph's Hospice Team for their love, care & support for Rita & her family.
Funeral service will be conducted at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with +Rev. Fr. Konstantine Chatzis officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
