Obituary of Madeline Ruth Franklin

Peacefully at University Hospital on May 21st, 2019 in her 96th year. Joining her husband Edward and her son David. Loving mother of Carol and dear sister to Betty Dixon. Much loved Nana to Lisa and Jenna and Great-Nana to Isla. Much loved Grandma to Jennifer, Jeff (Sophie) and Trisha (Brent) and Great-Grandma to Reece, Azlan, Teagan, Tanner, Zoe and Abbigail. Predeceased by her brothers Harry and Sanders Harrison and her sister Shirley Harris. Madeline will be fondly remembered and missed by her sister-in-law Dorothy Franklin and many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Kensington Village Retirement Residence and to the 7th floor staff at University Hospital for their exceptional care. A private graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery (303 Riverside Dr., London) on Friday, May 24th, 2019 at 2 p.m. Friends who wish to make a memorial donation in Madeline's name may select a charity of their choice.
