Obituary of Despina Papazoglou
Peacefully, after a short illness, at University Hospital, on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, Despina Papazoglou at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Anastassios Papazoglou (1997). Loving mother of Fr. George & Demetra Papazoglou, Kathy & Demetre Kouniakis, Mike & Christos Papazoglou and Evdoxia & Ioanis Tsamis. Loved by 6 grandchildren Noda (Christina) Kouniakis, George (Amy) Kouniakis, Joanna (Lucas) Hall, Anastassios (Arielle) Papazoglou, Angelos Papazoglou & Despina Tsamis and 8 great-grandchildren Katarina, Sofia, Irene, Alexander, Demetre, Leonidas, Melina & Anastasia. Also survived by many relatives in Greece.
Visitation will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St., London, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Demetre Mouselimis officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Trisagion Prayers will be held in the Logan Funeral Home Friday at 8:30pm following scheduled evening church service.
