Obituary of Nikolaos "Nick" Poulopoulos
Peacefully, surrounded by family at Victoria Hospital on Sunday, March 17, 2019, Nick Poulopoulos of London and formerly of Greece in his 80th year.
Beloved husband of Soula for 56 years. Loving father of Effie Tsergas (John Hyde) and Costa Poulopoulos (Mary Johnson). Cherished Pappou of Perry (Kate), Nicholas (Jada), Trina (Gustavo) and Shannon and great Pappou of Xristos. Dear brother of Soula Hamilton, Georgia Kastrandas and the late Kristina Zaharopoulos. Nick will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Nick was an entrepreneur from a young age in Greece which carried on in Canada including owning restaurants, real estate companies and finally retiring from the LCBO.
He was an entrepreneurial adventurous man with a vibrant spirit, colourful personality whose smile will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road West on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a donation are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Liver Foundation.
