Obituary of Mary Elizabeth "Mary Lou" Cockburn
Peacefully, at University Hospital, on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 Mary Elizabeth "Mary Lou" Cockburn passed away at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Colin Cockburn (2016). Cherished mother of her two daughters Tania Rosere (Johnathon), Roxanne Rosere and her step children John Cockburn (Dr. Gail Maples), Ross Cockburn and Debbie Carey (Don). Loving Nana of Taylor, Morgan, MacKenzie and Stuart. Also survived by her beloved sisters Florence Perkes & Silverene Peters. Elizabeth was a proud Aunt to all of her nieces and nephews and she will forever be in the hearts of many extended family & friends.
Elizabeth had a great love for animals; cats and dogs, especially her dog Winnie. She enjoyed travelling all around the world and entertaining her friends and family who enjoyed her gourmet cooking skills. You could often find her basking in the warm sun. In her early years she was an amazing artist and she introduced and taught many women the joy of yoga.
