Obituary of Marthe Marie Berwick
Today we say goodbye to a wonderful lady. Marthe Berwick (nee Gagnon) passed away on Friday December 7, 2018 in her 91st year, after a courageous battle with Alzheimers disease, at Glendale Crossing Nursing Home in London, Ontario.
Beloved wife of the late Warren Berwick. Cherished mother of Nancy of Toronto and Linda (Paul) of London. Proud grandmother of Michelle, Chad, Jason and Jeffrey. Loving great-grandmother of Ella and Ryan. Also survived by her sister Mariette and her brother Philicien both of Quebec as well as many nieces and nephews.
Marthe's family was always her priority, focus and joy in life. Marthe was an avid curler and golfer and was the recipient of numerous senior golfing trophies. Marthe will be fondly remembered by her many lifelong friends who shared in her love of sports and travel.
Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the years of compassionate care from Dr. Steven Dunlop, as well as to Dr. Andrew Whynot and the entire nursing staff at Glendale Crossing Nursing Home.
Marthe will forever be in the hearts of those she touched; for nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much.
