Obituary of Nicolas "Nick" Farfara

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family announces the passing of their hero, Nicolaos Farfara. Peacefully with family by his side, in his 75th year, was set free from his long, courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband and soul mate to Cathy (née Lee). Dearly loved father of Milton and Christine Farfara, Kirk and Mary Farfaras, Matina and Luis DaSilva. Step-Father to Lloyd Jr, Charles, Dwayne, Deanna and families. Devoted Pappou/grandfather of Nicolaos and Dianna, Nicky, Evan and Adam. Predeceased by his parents Miltiadis and Stamatina. Dear brother to Konstantina Skiadis of Greece and Maria and Theodoros Kotsanis of Niagara Falls. Uncle Nick will be fondly remembered by his nephews and nieces. Nick was a long time restaurant owner in London; Romano’s, Nikki’s Place, Norma Jeans and Memories, where he built life-long friendships. Nick will be greatly missed by his many friends and customers. He was forever proud of his children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments and his love for them will never be forgotten. Friends will be received at the LOGAN FUNERAL HOME , 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 7-9pm. Prayers will be held in the chapel at 8pm. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road W., on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre or Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated by the family.
