Obituary of John William Farrell

On the evening of March 24, 2018, at Victoria Hospital , London, surrounded by his family, and after a short but courageous battle with Cancer, John Farrell passed away, at the age of 73. John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Farrell (nee Slade), his sons Allan (Carole) and Ryan, his grandchildren Dakota (Cameron) and Curtis (Carley), and his great-grandchildren Ruby Ryan and Nicholas. He will also be missed by his brother Celestine (Jean) Farrell and by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Irene Farrell, his brothers Gerard and Jim, and his sisters; Ann, Mary, Irene, and Elva. John was born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, and spent his life devoted to his family. He was a loyal employee, spending most of his working life with Accuride, retiring after 20 plus years, and then developing skills programs with Pathways. Friends and family will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, on Thursday, March 29, 2018, from 11 am-12 pm. Funeral service will follow in the Logan Chapel at 12 pm. Private family interment, Woodland Cemetery.
