Dear Jean - I hope this message finds you. I just learned of Jack's passing and am devastated. I always thought I would be long gone well before Jack ever left us. He was always a person that I could call a true friend and I will so much, dearly miss him ! He was such a spark in my life - always full of energy and always had a smile for me - he always accepted me for who I was and we shared so many good times back in London together. Since I left London, my life has never quite been the same without Jack at my side - I have sorely missed our times together. I came out west to follow a dream and have never been able to return to give Jack a hug. I am deeply sorry about losing such a fantastic person. My family & I have suffered such deep financial loss over the last 5 years, that I regret I cannot afford to fly to London for Jack's funeral. Please know that I will always remember him for what he was - a true kindred spirit and a true and rare friend who strived to stay in touch with me and never forgot me. I am so sorry for your loss Jean - I know it must be heart breaking and so tough on you to lose such a wonderful life long partner. Please know that my thoughts are with you and that I will never, ever, forget Jack and what he meant to me. He was one of a kind. I loved him very much. Sincerely ; Richard Stabb 250-826-5902

Dear Jean: I was so deeply saddened to see that my dearest friend Jack had passed away...Oh how I wish we could have gone for that coffee we talked about. Not too long ago we met in Home Hardware but he said he wasnt feeling the best. I deeply regret not calling him again...... We chatted in the store and laughed about all wonderful memories of playing our trumpets in the band......My deepest condolences to you Jean. Jack was a wonderful friend to me for so many years and yourself as well, and I will miss him.

My sincere condolences to the family of Jack, and of course his cat. Jack was a friend of my dad's and through email became a friend of mine. I always enjoyed my little chats with him and thought he was a lovely man. He would always tell me about his animals and how much he enjoyed having them around. He will be missed. RIP Jack.
