Kathy and family: Please accept my sympathy on Ron's passing. I worked with Ron in the London Brewery - I was based in the Labatt R&D Center. He was always eager to assist our efforts in anyway that he would. For example without his support Ice Beer might not have become a reality!

Barb and I send our sincere condolences. Ron was a special person who I met through the Rec Association. It did not matter to Ron if you were a union man or management his friendship was special. After retirement I enjoyed good time with him golfing and Thursday nights at Tiger Jacks or breakfast with the garage boys. I will really miss his friendship and fellowship. Our prayers are with his family and I always say remember the good times because they will carry you through this time of need.

Dear Kathy and members of the Blain family, I wish to extend my sincere condolences in Ron's passing. I was fortunate to have worked closely with Ron during his years as President of the Union at Labatt. As a member of management there were times we had our disagreements, but never did we lose respect for one another. Ron was a man of integrity and not only was he committed to representing his members but he was also committed to the success of Labatt London. The London Brewery enjoyed very successful years during Ron's tenure as Union President and his leadership was a significant factor in this success. After leaving Labatt in 1998 and relocating to Kincardine, our friendship continued and I was fortunate to have Ron visit and do some salmon fishing on Lake Huron. I truly enjoyed his company and he will be sadly missed. Kathy, may you and the Blain family find love support and comfort during this difficult period, and cherish the many memories you shared with this genuine and loving man. To my friend Ron, rest in peace and may our paths cross again somewhere down the road!
