Obituary of Leonard James "Len" Palmer
Peacefully passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Parkwood Institute at the age of 97.
Beloved husband of the late Caroline Palmer. Dear father of Ray (Helen) Palmer, Jacqueline (Craig) Erickson and Rita (Robert) Eagan. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Brother of Clarence (Helen) Wentz. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters.
Len proudly and courageously served his country in the Royal Canadian Air Force for over 30 years where he became known as "a master of all trades" throughout the military.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 303 Riverside Drive, London, Ontario on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow.
