Obituary of Ioannis "John" Liabotis
Peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at L.H.S.C., Victoria Hospital at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Mary Liabotis. Dear father to Stan Liabotis of Ottawa, Patricia Liabotis (Ron) of London and Nancy Liabotis (Bill) of London. Loving grandfather of Sarah White, Jonathan White, Maria Hill and Madeline Hill. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his siblings Sophia, Nick, Chris and Gus.
John was the proud owner of the 7 Dwarfs restaurant where he passionately worked for over 30 years.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of the pallative care unit at L.H.S.C., Victoria Hospital for all their care and support.
Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St., London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 6-9 p.m.
Prayers will be held in the Logan Chapel Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be conducted at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Kidney Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Liabotis.
