Obituary of Brian George Woolsey
Born December 25th, 1945 in Hamilton. Died suddenly October 18th, 2013 at University Hospital, London. Predeceased by his wife and best friend Barbara Joan (nee Smith). Loved son of Leo and Evelyn Woolsey (predeceased), brother of Pat Mckay of Dundas and John Woolsey of London. Brian will be greatly missed by his brothers-in-law Roy Mckay and Brent Bromwich and sisters-in-law Karen Woolsey and Sharon Bromwich. He will be fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Lori Byers, Carolyn Todd, Kevin and Danielle Woolsey and Jill and Chris Bromwich. From Dundas to Applewood Acres (where he was known as the "Bear"), Brian and Barb explored Canada from Toronto to Winnipeg, Vancouver Island and Ottawa. Recently settling in London, Brian will forever be known as a staunch defender of Parks Canada. His "Parkie" colleagues and family are proud of his dedication to and development of National Historic Sites, so visit your favorite site or discover a new one in his memory! A memorial gathering will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Colborne and Waterloo) on Tuesday October 22nd, 2013 at 11:00am.
