Obituary of Beatrice (Patricia) Stouros

Peacefully passed away on April 3, 2012 at the Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital in Ottawa at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband Leo, parents George and Panayota Strathopolous of London, Ontario; brothers Bill, Jim and Peter; sisters Vienna, Helen, Lemone and Elizabeth. Survived by her daughter Marea (Bob); sons Nick, George and Sam (Sandra); granddaughters Christina (Stephen), Leanne, and Keanna; grandsons Leo and Jordan and great-grandson Trent. Born and raised in London then moved to Kitchener, Ontario where she lived for the vast majority of her adult life with her husband and children and became heavily involved in the scout movement. Regular member of Good Life Fitness and could be often seen walking from home to downtown Kitchener and back, no matter what the weather. Visitation will be held at Logan’s Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) London, Ontario on Sunday April 8, 2012 between 7pm and 9pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday April 9, 2012 at 1pm at Logan Funeral Home with Father Elias Drossos of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church officiating. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario are appreciated. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Beatrice Stouros. Services: Service Date Monday, April 9, 2012
